This Week I Love...

I'm very sad to say that I probably won't be able to afford a single thing from my wishlist for the month thanks to bills and the like but I am currently preparing a post highlighting some of the most recent additions to my wardrobe from the last couple of months that I haven't had a chance to share with you yet. So stay tuned!
In the mean time, here's some things I loved this week (and last week).
Holy Chic Tee - Bardot
I saw this tee when I was out shopping with a girlfriend the Friday before last and I immediately fell in love. Graphic and printed tees aren't really my style but I would love to learn how to incorporate them into my wardrobe as they are very trendy and can look really interesting when styled well. I loved the pun on this shirt and the beaded jewel detailing on it added a feminine touch. It wasn't on sale when I was in Bardot's store but it is currently on sale in their online store!
Harper Flocked Scuba Dress - Forever New
I saw this dress when I was browsing the latest collection on Forever New's website and fell in love with the velvety baroque detailing. I really love the fabric design as well as the overall cut of the dress. It is very elegant and very on-trend for this coming winter.
Paige Textured Belt Dress - Forever New
Speaking of Forever New, I also fell in love (as I often do) with this blue texture skater dress. This shade of blue is one of my favourites and again I love the subtle textures the fabric has to offer this dress. It isn't as chic as the one above but still a lovely dress.
Jewel Sleeve T-Shirt - Ally Fashion
This tee I found on a smaller fashion chain store here in Australia called Ally Fashion. I instantly knew I had found something special in the jewelled details on the sleeves. This tee is very unique and I just love the colours it has to offer!
Lina Heart Crown Stud - Forever New
I found these little gems also at Forever New and definitely think this is one purchase I just have to make! When I was younger I was completely obsessed with the video game Kingdom Hearts and I often find myself drawn to this design: a heart with a crown. My favourite perfume (Vera Wang - Princess) comes in a bottle of this design, I have a charm on my Pandora bracelet with this design and I am also thinking of getting a tattoo in this design because of the impact the game had on my teenaged years. These earrings are just adorable! I love them to pieces!

Lime & Soda

----------
On Saturday night my boyfriend and I went to a birthday party for a friend of ours that we both happen know through different places: he met her at work whereas I went to school with her! How weird is that?
Anyway, the party was at a rooftop cocktail bar that I have never been to before called Limes. We were told in advance that it was quite fancy so I decided to wear this beautiful high-low dress from Forever New that I bought a year ago for a wedding and haven't had the chance to wear again since. I paired it with some simply gold accessories including my new collar that I haven't had a chance to show you yet and some simple/sparkly shoes to complete the look.
I must apologise for the quality of the pictures in this post! I don't have a fancy camera, just a normal "point and shoot" digital camera so taking pictures at sunset/dusk is quite difficult and some of them turned out quite dark. We also didn't get any close up detail shots because the outfit was fairly simple. Please forgive me!

March/April Wishlist

It's pay day tomorrow and do you know what that means? It's time for my monthly wish/shopping list post! Unfortunately I only have a very small budget for clothes this month because I have to pay for my car registration as well as get some fillings at the dentist. Sadly that means the focus for this month is just a few simple pieces that I can buy for relatively cheap and should mix up my wardrobe a little bit in the coming month as the colder autumn weather approaches.
Burgundy Wedges
Karolina Wedge - The Iconic
I saw a pair of burgundy wedges similar to the ones pictures above in a store a few weeks ago and have regretted not looking to see if they had my size ever since. Burgundy is such a rich colour for this season and while I am still undecided about buying jeans in this colour, I definitely want shoes (and a sweater!) in this shade. Leopard print is something I have recently discovered I liked and I think either pair of these wedges would go great with some black skinny jeans and a leather jacket for an edgy, chic look.
High-Low Skirt
I have been chasing a black, sheer high-low skirt for a little while and would love to be able to find one this month to add to my wardrobe. I found the one above on ROMWE whilst browsing the other day and thought I might give it a try. Ideally I would like it in chiffon for a more floaty, feminine touch but for the price (just under $23) I'm willing to give ROMWE a try.
White Long Sleeved Blouse
Speaking of ROMWE, as you will no doubt be aware I am still on the hunt for a long-sleeved white blouse and the collar tips on this blouse are super cute! I have never bought from ROMWE before but I hear very good things about it on other blogs. Have any of you lovely ladies bought from ROMWE before? Tell me what you think!
Silver Watch
Believe it or not, I have only owned one watch in my entire life and it was when I was 10 years old. It was a hideous thing with a smiley face band and a "mood stone" for the face that changed colour depending on your body temperature. I think now that I am nearly 25 I should probably add a basic (but proper!) watch to my jewellery collection... mostly so my boyfriend will stop getting annoyed with me constantly asking him for the time!
I have a few naughty purchases in the mail on their way to me that I snuck in last month so hopefully I can show you some new additions to my wardrobe soon.
Have a good weekend!
xoxo

This Week I Love...

I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to blog last week! Things have been crazy in my life and my boyfriend (and photographer!) have been so busy we have been passing like ships in the night and just not getting a chance to take any outfit pictures. Hopefully I will have some for you soon.
In the meantime, here's a few things I've found this week that I just love! They won't go on my monthly wishlist because I can't afford to buy such expensive pieces right now but it doesn't stop me loving them enough to want to share with you guys!
Elena Studded Neckline Dress - Forever New
I absolutely love the studded detailing on this bodycon dress from Forever New. I think this dress is a little bit edgy whilst being very classy.
Lucy (by Spurr) - The Iconic
These wedges by Spurr I found on The Iconic are just to die for! I love the feminine blush colour combined with the tough studded element. They're just gorgeous shoes and would look super cute with a black or floral dress.
Kimberley Skater Dress - Forever New
I love this dress from Forever New simply for the shape and the colour. I love blue (it's been my favourite colour since I was 6) and this shade is just divine!
Asymmetrical Hem Peplum Top - ROMWE
I was browsing through ROMWE (I have never bought from them) and this top caught my eye. I have been looking to try the peplum style for a while now but have never found anything I really liked. The asymmetrical shape of this top makes it really unique and of course I am obsessed with studs right now so the shoulder detailing is just perfect! It also comes in white and I am so torn over which I would prefer!
I hope you are all having a good week and I promise to have some new outfits for you soon!

Black & Gold

Leather Skirt - TopShop
Blouse - Forever New
Wedge Booties - Gift
Necklace - Lovisa
Leather Cuff - Boohoo
Asymmetrical Cuff - Diva
----------
Last night my boyfriend and I went to a 30th birthday party (at a pub/bar) for one of his hometown friends and whilst I originally wanted to wear a nice dress, the weather was so wet and miserable that I decided to go with a more autumn look rather than a summery dress. I have been dying to show you my leather skirt from TopShop for weeks now and I'm glad we finally got to take pictures with it.
Today I am going to a photoshoot with a friend of mine. My friend is a make-up artist and she has another friend who is a photographer and they have asked me to do a shoot with them just for practice. I only have to decide what to wear! They have asked for "classy casual but not too formal" so I am going to look through some of my favourite blogs for inspiration before I head out this afternoon. Hopefully I can share the pictures from the shoot with you!
